Aveta Vanguard 180: All-New Model
Aveta launched the Vanguard 180 on 4 August 2026 as a smaller model below the Vanguard 250. It is a 174cc adventure-style scooter making 13.6 kW and 17.2 Nm.
Equipment for the Price
ABS, a Traction Control System, a 7-inch TFT touchscreen, a front dash camera and keyless start are all standard. The Explorer Pack adds a 46-litre top box and crash bars.
Vanguard 180 Price and Stock
The recommended price is RM 9,398 for the Standard and RM 9,698 for the Explorer Pack. It is in stock at our Pekan Kapar HQ.

Honda Vario 160: Three New Colours
Boon Siew Honda refreshed the Vario 160 on 24 July 2026 with three new colours: Matte Black, Silver Blue and Gray Gold.
What Stays the Same
The 157cc eSP+ engine, ABS, Honda Smart Key, full LED lighting and 18 litres of underseat storage carry over. Honda covers it with a warranty of two years or 20,000 km.
Vario 160 Price and Stock
The recommended price is RM 10,498, and it is sold through Honda Impian X dealers. We stock it at Honda Impian X Kapar.
Honda ADV160 Spider-Man Edition
Boon Siew Honda limited this special edition to 300 units for the whole of Malaysia, on sale from 3 August 2026. It says the edition will not be produced again once it sells out.
What Comes with It
It has a Spider-Man inspired livery, a numbered Owner’s Certificate Card and a gift set with an LED thermos flask, a fuel tank cap and emblems. Underneath it is the ADV160 with Honda RoadSync, ABS and HSTC.

MODA Sporter-S SKII: More Equipment
MODA launched the updated Sporter-S SKII on 18 August 2026. The 244cc engine carries over with 24.8 hp and 22.5 Nm.
What Changed
The SKII adds a 7-inch TFT touchscreen with Bluetooth, an electrically adjustable windscreen, a front HD dash camera and revised rear suspension. It is 2 kg lighter, at 184 kg.
Sporter-S SKII Price and Stock
The recommended price is RM 17,998. We list it at our Pekan Kapar HQ, next to the first-generation Sporter S.

Zontes 368G V2.1: Better Suspension
Zontes Malaysia announced the 368G V2.1 on 23 July 2026. The 368cc adventure scooter makes 28.5 kW and 40 Nm, with ABS, traction control and cruise control as standard.
What Changed
V2.1 adds rear shocks with external reservoirs and a new suspension colour. The engine, the electronics and the price are unchanged from the 368G V2.
368G Price and Test Rides
Zontes Malaysia lists it at RM 28,800. The 368G is available at all TM Motoworld branches, and test rides are available at our Shah Alam branch.

How to Choose Between Them
Match the Licence First
The first four are 250cc or below, so a B2 licence covers them. The Zontes 368G is 368cc, which is above the B2 limit, so it needs a higher licence class.
Match the Daily Route
The Vario 160 is the lightest commuter here. The Vanguard 180 and the ADV160 add an upright adventure stance for rough roads. The Sporter-S SKII and the 368G carry bigger tanks for highway days.
Match the Budget
Recommended prices fall into three bands: around RM 10,000 for the Vanguard 180 and the Vario 160, RM 14,000 to RM 18,000 for the ADV160 Spider-Man Edition and the Sporter-S SKII, and RM 28,800 for the 368G.
